The David Braley Cardiac, Vascular and Stroke Research Institute is a new health care research building situated on the Hamilton General Hospital site in the north-central area of Hamilton. McCallum Sather Architects acted as the Associate Architect with Parkin Architects as the Architect of Record.
This six-storey building provides a mix of research office space, meeting rooms, breakout spaces, experimental pathology, and wet laboratories. It is also home to Canada’s largest biobank which stores more than 1.8 million tissue and genetic research samples.
